DALL-E 2 is a new version of DALL-E, a generative language model that creates corresponding original images from sentences. DALL-E 2 has 3.5B parameters, making it large but not nearly as large as GPT-3. Interestingly, it is smaller than its predecessor, which had 12B parameters. Despite its size, DALL-E 2 generates images 4 times better in resolution than DALL-E. Additionally, human judges prefer DALL-E 2 over DALL-E 70% of the time in caption matching and photorealism.

After conducting some interviews across UBC we identified, most of the students, struggle with effective goal setting and visualization of their future. The lack of a structured and intuitive platform often results in scattered objectives, unmet aspirations, and a sense of directionlessness. Traditional goal-setting methods may not cater to the diverse timeframes of long-term, mid-term, short-term, and immediate goals, leading to confusion and inefficiency. Additionally, the absence of consistent reminders and progress tracking mechanisms can hinder motivation and hinder goal achievement. Thus our Motivation app streamlines goal setting by categorizing long-term (5-10 years), mid-term (1 year), short-term (semester or monthly), and immediate goals (daily/weekly). It creates a visual hierarchy diagram for goal visualization and sends daily reminders to achieve goal. Weekly progress tracking includes time spent and streaks. The visualization uses AI to showcases themself in future with positive lifestyle based on goal achievements. Our primary target audience is university students. These individuals are at a crucial stage in their lives where they are shaping their futures, setting academic and personal goals.
