plateful: It's a common sentiment (one I personally share, hence this idea!) that recipe and meal planning apps today are too complicated for the average home cook, especially with the limited time we have in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. They zap the joy out of cooking with tedious data entry, convoluted recipe organization, and confusing interfaces. For this hackathon, we have decided to build plateful, a delightfully simple AI cooking companion. The aim of plateful is to make home cooking straightforward, effortless and accessible. Unlike other apps that require slogging through calculations and management, our solution gets you cooking in seconds. plateful streamlines the planning process by automatically generating ingredient lists - even from the most vague of inputs! - and providing one-tap meal options tailored to the user's tastes, whether they're cooking for themselves or a whole band of picky eaters. plateful will handle the hassle so users can fall in love with cooking again.
